In 1922 Kay Bojesen designed his first wooden toys for children for which he should later become very famous. Known for his more common zoo-line series of wooden jointed animals most notably his teak and limba monkey these beautiful wooden Danish toy soldiers are much rarer and harder to find. They are hand painted and signed by Kay Bojesen. They have moveable arms and legs and are in great condtion considering their age. Used by Bang & Olufsen for many years in various advertising campaigns for their Hi-Fi equipment they are full of charm and character.
