Jo Colombo's beautiful floor light. This original model was made by O-Luce in 1967. Complete with special semi-cylindrical reflector in stove-enamlled and lacquered metal. The reflector tilts and turns on a black plastic joint which also adjusts the height. The split in the shade acts as an uplighter for softer directional lighting. This light won the 'International Design Award' from the American Institute of Interior Designers in Chicago in 1968. Considered to be such an important design icon it is part of the permanent collection at the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York and of the Neue Sammlung Museum in Munich.
