A lovely example of German modernism. The stand is made from a single chrome plated steel rod mounted on a tripod base with lovely black inlaid detail. Amazingly the original shade is present and rises and falls around the central rod. This is secured using a dedicated knob, enabling it to be used as a standard lamp or reading light. The lamp holder takes two sscrew-in bulbs and both are fully adjustable, tilting in both directions. The switch allows either bulb to illuminate or both together, for various lighting options. Simple, functional and beautiful, this light would make a perfect addition to any modern or minimal home or office interior.
