Arne Jacobsen is one of the most renowned Danish architects and designers of the time. His designs are genuinely timeless, today - 50 years after their creation - they are more popular than ever. Orignally designed by Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen the AJ Royal is a state-of-the-art hemispherical fixture housing. Soft uplight is emitted through stepped ring louvres moulded to fit the shape of the fixture. The shade is made from spun aluminium and the rings are made from steel. Wet painted in graphite grey. Takes 4 standard screw-in type bulbs.
