John and Sylvia Reid were architects and designers. They designed furniture for the Stag Furniture Company only for a very brief period. Their primary concern was to produce modernism for the high street. Their influences were largely American, particularly the work of George Nelson. This is a very rare example of their modern 4 drawer chest in Australian walnut with ebonised detailing.This chest is In excellent condition for its age with only light signs of use. Ebonised legs can be removed.
