Harry Bertoia side chair model no. 420c. Black vinyl-coated bent and welded steel rod construction. Bertoia's designs not only addressed functional requirements but were also studies in form and space. Mechanised production was attempted but it was discovered that these chairs were actually easier to produce by hand. This chair is in good conditon for its age. This is the vinyl coated version making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. A lovely dining chair or garden chair.
