Their primary concern was to produce modernism for the high street. Their influences were largely American, particularly the work of George Nelson. This is a very rare example of their modern dressing table. Made from red mahogany and venereed beautifully in oak. This piece is In good condition for its age. There is one piece of chipped veneer to the bottom drawer and a patch of wear to the top. The detachable mirror can be mounted horizontally or verticlaly. Solid turned oak legs can be removed.
